Eggs Up Grill Opens Lake Norman Location in Cornelius

On Friday, Chris and Sofia Mendoza, along with their business partner Alfonso Segura, inaugurated the fourth Eggs Up Grill establishment in the Charlotte area. Situated on Lake Norman in Cornelius, the new restaurant is located at 19732 One Norman Blvd. within Turnberry Place, just off Interstate 77 Exit 28. Eggs Up Grill offers a delectable menu of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. For breakfast, customers can enjoy a variety of classic dishes, signature omelets, fluffy pancakes, crispy waffles, and tantalizing French toast. Notable items include the Carne Asada burrito, Egg Bomb BLT, and various other mouthwatering selections.

The brunch menu features delectable items like shrimp and grits, the Founder’s Hash Benedict, eggs Benedict, Coastal Crab Cake Benedict, and the Southern Bowl—a delightful combination of creamy grits and home fries topped with sausage crumbles, sausage gravy, and two eggs.

During lunchtime, the restaurant offers an array of burgers, melts, sandwiches, and refreshing salads to satisfy different appetites.

The establishment can accommodate 94 guests indoors, with an additional 32 seats available on the outdoor patio. Operating hours are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, and customers can conveniently place orders online for takeout or delivery.

Chris Mendoza’s journey in the restaurant industry began at Yum Brands, where he spent 14 years working with Taco Bell. Eggs Up Grill was founded 25 years ago in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and has since expanded to include 66 locations in the South, including Gastonia, Fort Mill, and Rock Hill. Currently, the chain has a total of 170 locations either open, under development, or committed to opening through local franchise partnerships, as reported on EggsUpGrill.com.
